Thank You Michael Bostrom
Michael Bostrom’s last day on staff with us will be Friday, May 29, 2026. Michael served faithfully with us this entire school year as an interim Youth Leader. We are very grateful for Michael’s service. He led our Youth on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings alongside Suzan. Michael will continue to be active in our Young Adult ministry. Thank you Michael, for all the ways you serve the La Casa de Cristo community!
Staff Meeting on Monday
We have a staff meeting on Monday at 10:00 am (May 4). May the Fourth be with our meeting – come appropriate to the date.
Stay Connected and E-News Calendar
The Stay Connected and E-News calendar is on LaCasaStaff.com (PW: WorkingForTheLord). Please be aware that it is a dynamic calendar and items shift around. But it will at least give you a sense of what is upcoming. We hope it will be a helpful way for you to keep track of your own events.
Sabbath
“Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.” – Genesis 2:3.
I believe we live in a society that is anti-sabbath. As Christians, we must deliberately pay attention to observing the Sabbath, lest we get lost in the mode of every-single-day work. It is for our own health. Start by taking it one day at a time. Instead of this devotion asking, “How do you observe the Sabbath?” — Which is a generic and vague question — I will instead ask, “What are you doing this Sunday?” May we all observe the Sabbath this weekend.
