Please remember that after Easter we will be doing a church visit to Valley Presbyterian Church, just north of Old Town Scottsdale.  We will meet there at 10:00 am on April 13.  Their address is: 6947 E McDonald Dr, Paradise Valley, AZ 85253.  Please be prompt and on-time to be respectful of their leaders who will be giving us the tour.  This is required unless you have explicitly spoken with Pastor Matt or Pastor Jeff about why you are unable to be there.  

 

If you have not done so yet, please submit your ministry appeal proposals to the pastors.  The church has big plans for the appeal campaign, now is your chance to submit your ideas.  The deadline for proposals is April 15.

 

There is NO staff meeting on April 6.  We are doing the church visit instead on April 13.

 

The church office is closed on Good Friday. 

 

Our next staff meeting is May 4 at 10:00 am.  As a special occasion, you may come dressed as your favorite Star Wars character if you wish.  May the Fourth be with You.

 

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).  We do our best to be a church of service, yet we always fall short of perfection.  This verse reminds us that Jesus alone is the true example of what it means to serve.  Jesus did not come to be served but he came to serve us.  He ultimately served us by giving his life for us.  He gave his life as a ransom fo us.  I hope that you will join us this week in worshiping Jesus who gave his life in service for us.
